Though it may seem easy, the push-up will set your chest, shoulders and triceps on fire. Additionally, you can alternate between different hand positions to put more tension on one of the working muscle groups. The wider you go, the more your chest gets activated and the closer your hands are, the more your triceps work.
- 1Place your hands on the ground, wider than shoulder width

- 3Look down and go down slowly
- 4Once your chest is an inch off the ground, push up and contract the chest
