Rack Pulls

Rack pulls are perhaps one of the best back builders of ALL the exercises, mainly because they are a heavy compound.

execution

  1. 1
    Set up the safety bars on a rack to about knee level
  2. 2
    Place a bar on the safety pins and load it
  3. 3
    Grab the bar at about shoulder width, with either an overhand or a mixed grip
  4. 4
    Bend knees slightly, keep torso straight and look forward
  5. 5
    Pull the bar up, extending the torso (Avoid extending aggressively)
  6. 6
    Go back down slowly, maintaining tension on the back
