Shrug Dropset

Dropsets are a technique you can use to maximize metabolic stress & optimize results. The DB shrug will primarily target your upper and middle traps and secondarily, the shoulders.

execution

  1. 1
    Take a pair of dumbbells and stand up straight
  2. 2
    Keep the dumbbells by your sides with palms facing the torso and elbows slightly bent
  3. 3
    Shrug the dumbbells up and contract the traps
  4. 4
    Go back down slowly
  5. 5
    After having completed the entire set, reduce the weight 30% and do another set with no rest
